With modern white filling materials it is much easier to find a perfect colour match to your teeth. In most cases, it’s impossible to see that the tooth even has a filling.

As well as being used instead of metal for standard fillings, white materials can be bonded to front teeth to cover unsightly marks, to repair breaks and cracks, or to improve the shape of the teeth.

White filings (composite bondings) cost a little more than traditional metal ones and they take a bit longer to do but if you want teeth that look as if they’ve always been healthy and have never needed any work, our new white fillings may be the answer for you. 

If you’re happy with amalgam (metal) fillings, that’s okay, we’re happy to provide them. Amalgam is strong and long-lasting, and the concerns regarding supposed health risks have largely been discounted. The choice is yours.
