Teeth Whitening in birmingham from the dentist in town
Teeth Whitening
New Smile
Without removing any of the natural tooth structure (so no injections and no drilling) we can treat discoloured, stained or ageing teeth and restore their sparkle with our state-of-the-art Dentist in Town Teeth Whitening Processes. A dazzling smile isn't just for celebrities any more. It's for you, because (as they say on the telly) you're worth it.
(By the way, despite my appearance in this video, I hadn't just staggered in from a wild night, honest)
In the meantime, here's some information:
All of our teeth whitening treatments are clinically approved.
As you may know, there are essentially two ways of lightening teeth:
1. The Quick Fix - often called the ‘In Office' system or ‘Power Whitening'. With this method, you sit in the dental chair for 45-60 minutes and leave with your teeth whitened.
2. The Home Kit. With this method, mini ‘gum shields' are individually made to hold whitening gel against your teeth. You wear these for 2 hours each day, or overnight (which most people find more convenient). You repeat the process until you are happy with the results.
We used to do a lot of quick fix 'laser' whitening but we stopped for the following reasons: we find the results unpredictable; patients have no control over how white their teeth go; the results can look unnatural; the rate of relapse is high - in fact, manufacturers of ‘in office' systems now recommend following up with a home kit to enhance and stabilize the result.
We find you can get a better result, much more cheaply, by using a professional home kit alone. It just takes a little longer - typically 10-14 days.
WARNING!
Unfortunately, these days a lot of people look to buy CHEAP TOOTH WHITENING from alternative sources such as tanning studios, beauticians and gyms. This can end in disaster. These people will tell you that the process is simple and safe and that there is no need to pay a dental professional to carry it out or supervise it. Sometimes that's the case. Often it isn't. Plus there are all sorts of considerations and individual differences that have to be taken into account and planned for in order to achieve the optimal result.
Let me give you an analogy. Modern airliners are capable of flying themselves. I don't know about you but I still wouldn't fly off anywhere without knowing there was a qualified pilot sitting in the cockpit.
It's your choice. Don't complicate your life by making the wrong one.
